Fiddler's Cove, Villa 15B

Vacation Rental - Hilton Head Island, SC

About Us

We are the second owners of Villa 15B.  My grandparents bought the unit after it was constructed in 1978.  When they decided to go on the road traveling around the country in their RV in 2003 they sold the unit to me and two of my long-time friends.  My friends and I all have a love for the island and for Fiddler's Cove.  I have been going to Hilton Head Island since I was about 4 years old.  It is a place to which I plan on retiring.  I love the whole atmosphere of Hilton Head from the world class beaches and golf courses to the spectacular local seafood restaurants.  There really is something here for every member of your family.

Villa 15B may be a rental unit for us, but it really is a second home.  Each of us vacations here, so we take care of it like we do our own homes.

I go to Hilton Head on average once or twice a year.  I am married and the proud father of four children.  We are teaching my kids to swim in the pools located in Fiddler's Cove.  I learned to play tennis on the Har-Tru clay tennis courts in Fiddler's Cove.

My friend, Allan, has been going to Hilton Head with me since high school (I won't disclose how long ago that actually was unless you specifically ask, but we are not that old).  He went to college at the University of South Carolina, so it was very convenient for him to go there during his early years at college (he ended up transferring "home" to Penn State ... we are all from Allentown, PA).  Allan will be married soon enough.  He knows how much of a golf and seafood destination it is.  He goes to the island one or two times a year.  He goes with his soon-to-be fiance's family during the summer and also to the owners' meeting in October with me.

Dan is the last of us, the owners of the unit.  Dan first went to Hilton Head with me after college I believe, but he immediately fell in love with it.  As a matter of fact, his sister and brother-in-law bought another villa within Fiddler's Cove after staying at our unit.  His family stays in Fiddler's Cove for a week every summer.  Dan has recently married and we are all anxiously awaiting news of his wife becoming pregnant with their first child (don't tell him I told you that and we are still waiting, by the way).

Once you go there, it is hard to not go back.  I have found that to be true over and over.  In the last two years, we have had two renters end up buying places, timeshare or otherwise, in or around Hilton Head.  Hilton Head Island is a wonderful place still filled with all the Southern hospitality you've heard about.  Regardless of what you are looking for in your vacation, you will find it here.

Sincerely,
Jayme Zick
